Your personal data is processed in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), applicable secondary legislation and decisions of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.

In this Privacy Notice, “Lendo Turkey” refers to the data controller and the website activities carried out under the Lendo Turkey brand.

Information submitted through the contact form may be processed to assess and respond to your request based on steps relating to the establishment of a contract, the establishment or protection of a right and our legitimate interests.

Newsletters and promotional communications are sent where the required consent and electronic communication permission have been obtained. You may withdraw your communication preference at any time.

7. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for the period required for the relevant processing purpose, taking into account statutory retention and limitation periods.

Data relating to enquiries and information requests may be retained for the time required to resolve the request and manage potential legal claims. Newsletter and marketing communication data may be retained until you withdraw your permission or the processing purpose ceases to exist.

When the applicable retention period expires or the reasons requiring processing cease to exist, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is being processed,

• Request information concerning the processing of your personal data,

• Learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used in accordance with that purpose,

• Learn the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your personal data has been transferred,

• Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,

• Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data where the applicable legal conditions are met,

• Request notification of correction, deletion or destruction to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,

• Object to a result arising against you through the analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems,

• Claim compensation if you suffer damage because your personal data has been processed unlawfully.

9. Exercising Your Rights

You may submit a request concerning your personal data by:

• Delivering a written application to our company address in person or through a notary public, together with information confirming your identity,

• Sending your request to info@lendoturkey.com,

• Using your registered electronic mail address, secure electronic signature or mobile signature to contact the registered electronic mail address of the data controller, where available.

Your application should contain your full name, signature, Turkish identity number or passport/identity number for foreign nationals, correspondence address, available email address and telephone number, and a clear explanation of your request.

Applications will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and no later than thirty days, depending on the nature of the request. Where the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.

10. Changes to This Notice

This Privacy Notice may be updated to reflect changes in legislation, decisions of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board, the technologies used or our personal data processing activities. The current version becomes effective on the date it is published on the website.
